I vote for B.

This is a Kaplan 800 question. Fisrt issue is amount of reaserch, it is singular so look for HAS, than modifier issue - into the cause of acoustic neuromas shoud modify REASERCH and need to be next to it.

Experts are welcome with any sugestions to approve or fix my reasoning.

B for me
Subject is singular.
So 'has' is the right option

this is the first time that I heard "amount of research", but B is still grammatically correct.
