It is a straight forward question we are given average velocity in terms of distance and time.

Distance = 1500 m and time=10 minutes.

When they both are travelling we have to add the distances covered by both. So the distance covered by A and B combined would be average velocity.

So Average speed =1500/10 = 150 m/min

So distance traveled A and B combined is 150 hence C is correct

Assume Va and Vb are the speeds of persons A and B, respectively.

Then we have Va = 2Vb and 10Va + 10Vb = 10(2Vb) + 10Vb = 20Vb + 10Vb = 30Vb = 1500, and Vb = 50m/min. Then Va = 2Vb = 2(50) = 100m/min.

Then the distances walked by persons A and B in 1 minute are 100m and 50m, respectively. So, the total distance = 100 + 50 = 150.
