Hi All,
I'm a Chinese national working in US. I plan to apply for round 1 this year for US universities. I will be moving to China for a year to lead a team there for a project kick off.
Would this leadership position help boost my overall professional profile? I was skeptical since I was a Chinese national moving to my homeland, in terms of having an international work experience would this move be of a boost to my profile?
Please let me your valuable inputs.
Hi
pk_157,
Thanks for your query.
Yes, leadership potential always gets extra points in an MBA application and operating in the Chinese geography will definitely expose you cross-cultural experience (even though China is your homeland). However, to assess if this position is completely ideal for you, we will require greater detail on your role.
All the best!
