Hi:
Getting a MBA has been an interesting option for me during the last years. The World MBA Tour is visiting my city this Wednesday (Sep 7th ) and I feel like a kid in a candy store. My concrete questions are: Do you have any tips in order to maximize the results of my visit to the event? and , what can I expect besides the usual school brochure?? the newspaper ad talked about scholarships offerings, but I have my doubts.
Thanks in advance and king regards:
Jose.
Very good questions. You will get the usual brochure... lots of them. You can attend some of the general admissions sessions. Talk to adcom reps at the booths and ask questions about the schools' strengths and what they value in an applicants. If you have already done some school research, you can ask more specific questions about the schools that interest you. The best way to get something out of the fair is to prepare ahead of time.
I suspect there will be some scholarship offer if they advertise it, but it will be pretty meager.
