Also 2 isnt enough

From 1 and 2 we can say its is xy>0

rewrite (2) as
2y-x>6 ------------------(3)

y>4

Substitute this val in (1)

x-y(somevalue>4) >-2

Lets suppose y=4 then x has to be minimum 2

So both are +ve and hence

it is C
