I was accepted to both Yale and Rotman starting in September 2015. I come from a non-traditional management background and plan on changing careers into finance. The Rotman offer comes with a $20000 scholarship, which school would you choose?

Go for Rotman. Great location in Toronto downtown. It is the number one finance MBA school in Canada.

If you have plans to work in the US or somewhere else in the world, then I would highly recommend Yale.

Good Luck

Toronto firms will take a Yale MBA over a Rotman MBA any day. I don't know what area of finance you want but for example, IB, people returning from good US schools get the job over Rotman grads.

Not true. Although the Yale MBA probably means more in isolation, don't underestimate the connections and exposure Rotman students get in Toronto.
