\(Zacks.Revenue = (2500*0.15)+[(3000-2500)*0.25)] = (25*15)+(5*25)=375+125=500\)

(C) is the answer.

For the first 2,500 copies, at $0.15 per copy he sold, Zach earned (.15)(2,500) = $375

Zach sold 500 more copies at $0.25 per copy (3,000-2,000 = 500)
He then earned (.25)(500) = $125

In total, he earned $375 + $125 = $500

The amount of money Zack will receive after selling 2500 magazines = 2500(0.15) = $375

The amount of royalties Zack will receive :(3000-2500)(0.25) = $125

Total amount of money Zack will receive = 375+125 = $500
