Hahaha... HE (now that i am certain its a 'he') caught me there !
"Bad DAWGIE " :-D

I am sure your hit rate at harder problems in CR will improve over time.
I always get stuck with Powerscore CR guide. The book seems to be never ending. And it doesn’t have sufficient Practise problems.

I am guessing you are referring to Veritas for practice other than GMATClub and OG ?!?

It is REALLY REALLY REALLY insightful and I appreciate your nice job. By this way, you don't need any MGMAT, Manhattan Review, Knewton and all other expensive courses at all. Do you have anything for SC and RC while I have difficulty with them and need a comprehensive guide like it, very understandable for ma as a non-native speaker. Thankssssssssssssssssss.

Yeah, I am guessing so too. But I plan to review my concepts again and keep doing 10 problems or so a day. Yes, for now I am using Veritas and MGMAT. But I also have access to Beat the GMAT's question sets, though I've not taken a look at that yet. We'll see :)

Thank you! I am working on my SC document now and hopefully if it's good enough, I'll put it up on the forum. However, it's not going to happen for at least one or two weeks since I am really busy right now :)

I've been reading CR material from MGMAT and Powerscore CR bible. I was able to apply concepts in most of the problems but my accuracy was not great. I want to practice more CR questions by each question type. Can someone suggest some CR practice questions bank or book for targeted practice?
I've exhausted OG 12 questions, and I'm trying to keep official verbal supplement for last practice set before GMAT.
Suggestion for best CR question bank resources?

I think the Veritas Prep CR modules have some solid practice problems - almost a 100 each, if I didn't count wrong. I liked their style a lot as well. I would also recommend creating a free account on Grockit and attacking their CR problems - they are pretty good, but sometimes a little unlike GMAT.

Apart from that, I think the OG and the verbal supplement are your best bet. You could try exhausting the GMAT Prep resources once you get through with them. Or search the forum by tags to find questions to your liking. Hope this helps

Hi there, thank you for the material. Would like to clarify whether a premise as an answer choice is acceptable or not for "Must Be True" type questions?

There are differing comments in the pdf. "There are some answer choices that will reinforce or repeat the premise instead of the conclusion. In the Main Point and “Must be True” question types you need answer choices that restate the conclusion in a different way, and support the conclusion, not the premise."
- pg7 vs pg 9.

With an attractive title like that, it's surprising you're even reading this. I started preparing for the GMAT with the CR section and went through at least three different strategy guides before putting together my own document with the best strategies in them.

The document I've attached here basically contains a comprehensive list of question types, identification techniques, approach techniques and correct/incorrect answer choice justifications. I've also included two examples for each of the types I've mentioned.

I am also a big color junkie. If it doesn't look good, I don't like reading it, so I made it as colorful and lively as I could. And I thought I should share it with you guys, should it help anyone at all.

Recommendation: Go buy the Powerscore CR and Veritas CR Guides. Both of them are excellent sources of problems and strategies. The Powerscore CR Bible clearly explains what I've summarized here and Veritas has some examples that illustrate the strategies very efficiently!

Hi. Indeed, there are a few references to the premise and it is not super clear. At one point it says that it cannot be a premise and at another point it says combination of premises and also referencing Main Point questions. It is a bit mixed.

I would say that it cannot be the premise itself. However, I think the best option to get some confidence would be to work thorugh some Must be True questions from the OG or such. Your mind should pick up the patterns naturally so you don't have to think and decide what is a premise vs. conclusion vs. assumption.

Also, note that there is a BIG difference between medium/easy and hard CR questions. The Medium/Easy ones will have a very distinct pattern where if you solve 1, you know how to solve them all. The hard ones will be much harder to spot the pattern and may not have one at all.
