Program Full-Time

Class of 2018

Experience during the program

1st Semester - the best and the worst. The coursework is designed to be very hectic. A lot of classes, quizzes, job applications, career fairs will not leave you wit anytime. The best part is that everything is still very new and still exciting. You always wanted to be in the B-school and now that your sitting inside the class takes sometime to settle in. Of course new peers, soaking a lot of cultural shocks, learning from the diversity. Overall, i still laugh when i recall those memories.

2nd - career management started reaching out to every single company i wanted to work with. Every other day They would give me a contact or try to set up an interview with an alum. Few weeks into 2nd sem i landed up with an internship.

3rd - converted my internship at Silicon Valley but i was still looking for a more marketing and Brand oriented role. My professor, who was a senior director at a healthcare company helped me with few contacts and eventually that got converted into a fulltime offer over a few weeks time. I am stting in my office right now and my super cool boss doesn’t give me freaky looks when he noticed i am writing a comment on Gmatclub. He went to Tepper !!

4th - time to give back!! Helped mentoring the juniors and incoming class. Worked riorously with the admission committee to bring in more companies , expand our wings. Helped few of those classmates who were still seeking. And of course a lot of fun and party, afterall i earned it!!

About professors, classes and curriculum

Terry MBa is quite flexible in choosing courses that are offered in the university as long as you know why you need to be in that class.
I personally took some statistics courses that were not included just to understand nuances of the Retail industry from Analytics perspective.
Overall, Terry is super duper flexible when it comes to choosing curriculum. Albeit there are few mandatory courses and you gotta earn credits on those.

About job placement process

Terry has an extremely strong hold on the Southern market and almost every top company from South hires from Terry. A lot of alums can be found in Marketing/Finance. Retail/CPG are thos two main pillars
