After two different big box curriculums (in-person and online) with very little progress, I didn't know what to do. I was working against a crunched timeframe and was in desperate need for a fresh GMAT perspective. As a poor standardized test taker, I found that the EMPOWER modules taught me about what the test is really trying to test. I finally found myself having a grasp on what content I would need to know and what different approaches I could use, even if it came down to guessing strategy. Along with great content, Rich (the instructor) does a great job of weaving in short clips of tips outside of the pure content that keeps you engaged and ready for the big day.

I regret the thousands of dollars I spent with big box programs, feeling overwhelmed and buried with 20 lbs of books. EMPOWER is by far the most cost-effective GMAT prep program. I'm sure my score would have went up more had I not had just a couple week timeframe to improve. In any event, I was admitted into one of dream MBA programs and I know it was huge to have the small score edge I earned from my few weeks of EMPOWER.
