I am an award-winning Korean Super Model, the first place of the Korean Super Model Competition in 2003, and I am currently enrolled in MBA program at the MIT Sloan School of Management. I am very glad to share my experiences of hitting Q51 and enter MIT. Just trust Math Revolution and follow what they guide you. You can imagine that I have never had any mathematical background in my life and career.
I worked as a model in mainly Asian countries after winning the award, I continued my career as a model in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London after moving to New York in 2006. While modeling, I studied in fashion business management in Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), and built my career participating in various marketing projects as a fashion trend analyst in a New York-based fashion company after graduation.
Starting off as a fashion model, I had been building stable career as well as various experiences in fields reaching from marketing to general fashion until I decided to apply for MIT Sloan Management. This is because I felt the need to become more professional in management skills and big data analysis for digital marketing in order to become a professional manager, and MIT Sloan Management is cut out for my roadmap.
However, I felt most pressured by the fact that I had to get a high GMAT score in a short period of time in order to get into Sloan, a school considered top among others. Achieving academic results in GMAT Math after studying briefly was especially more challenging for me since I had always been working in the fields that were qualitative rather than quantitative. I have not solved any single math questions for many many years. Also, I realized that GMAT Math requires not the notions like those of math tests in high school, but solely the mathematical logic.
As studying felt difficult for me, I came to know Max Lee (Math Revolution) who is already too well known among people whose challenge to top MBAs. Ever since then, I have seen many cases where he promised high scores in GMAT Math by guiding people like me to easily solve problems in a completely different way from those of GMAT preps provided by GMAT official guides in the research process.
Although I was not fully convinced at first, I tried “Trial Pack” for the first two weeks and asked questions through e-mail every time there was an answer I was not fully sure about. Math Revolution Team not only gave me quick and clear replies to my questions but also gave me study guides that I could follow. Study guide helped me a lot in studying effectively while keeping my original career in fashion. Among others, it was an earth-shattering experience to go through very unique approaches in solving math problems I have never seen. Especially, Variable approach for DS was very amazing, time-saving and very efficient as if I was opening my eyes to a whole new world. Soon after, there became growing faith in him and I purchased courses offered by him.
The fact that Max Lee not only simply enabled me to better solve problems but also taught me logics to think mathematically was not comparable to any other already existing method. Also, the more I understood the logics of GMAT MATH, the less time it took to solve each problem. Against this backdrop, my scores got higher in a short period of time at a pace that surprised even me.
After studying under the tutelage of Math Revolution, I got in to MIT Sloan School of Management with the score of Q51. GMAT math requires basic math skills but more logical skills
What I truly want to say to every reader of this is that although there are many ways to get a high score such as changing your life style, tailoring your way of approach, and so on, the most important thing is that you must never forget your goals and dreams (‘Why do I need this score?’ ‘what am I studying for?’) and must stay eager to study. This is the shortcut to a higher score.
Your dream can come true if you dream and act.
