I really liked the structured approach to SC,and CR and the way it has been explained in throughout the course.

I completed the course a month back and really loved it , tough I was not able to make the best use of it as i had to postpone my GMAT date due to personal reasons and my subscription expired before I could make the best use of the course and the scholaranium of e gmat.

But , nonetheless the course was good and I really liked the technique used to impart the knowledge, The pattern how the contents unfold ,and even the basic level of the topic is covered .

For a non native user it is really very helpful as it provides with knowledge ,which is not available in other courses.

I'm not a native speaker but since I had pretty high TOEFL scores (115 out of 120) and I was an English major, I didn't think GMAT verbal should be too hard. However, I got stuck with V31 from the official mock test till 3 months later when I took my first official test (still stuck at V31). During the 3 months of my preparation I went to a GMAT in person course (of 20 people) in my country and learned the tips to sentence correction--mostly focusing on grammar, comparison between the two similar options and other tips such as "don't choose the sentence with ',with' (with after a comma)".

While the tips helped me get to the 600s, I checked my ESR and realized that I could never get a 700 level SC question right. Another problem was that, since I was too busy using the tips, I didn't really think about the meaning of the sentence, so I would often get tricked by the false parallelism.

Payal in E-gmat helped me in the foundation concept of sentence correction to break down the long sentences and calm down to see what is the main information the sentence is trying to convey. The rest of the information are just "noise", to distract you from the main sentence. By breaking down the sentence, I learned to read much faster and understood the meaning of the sentence. It also helped me to locate the subject and verb much easily, which is important since subject verb agreement is such a big test focus. Finally, I concentrated much more on what the different modifiers are trying to modify, so I wouldn't be tricked by the different placements of modifiers.

Another big takeaway for me was the modifier courses, especially on VERB-ed and VERB-ing modifiers. It made me realize that I never really understood how VERB-ing modifiers could change the meaning of the sentence, or the relationship between the subject and verb would be illogical.

To sum up, E-gmat's sentence correction course helped me break down long sentences to really understand the meaning of the sentence. The course in turn also helped improve my reading comprehension skills, either for CR or RC. E-gmat helped me improve my verbal from 31 to 36 in 3 months, more than my original method using tips and grammatical rules did. Thank you e-gmat!

Not having used GMAT style English at work for a very long time (being a specialist doctor), the Verbal section was not an easy task. During the initial stages of my preparation, the SC and the CR were getting tricky (I had started doing the OG)

So based on reviews on the web (gmat club, beat the gmat), I enrolled for the e-gmat course, Verbal online.

Course structure: The structure of the course is very helpful, starting from the basics and progressing in difficulty.

Content: The content is very elaborate and extensive. In fact, the course covers almost everything the GMAT asks.

Questions: The questions are of all difficulty levels, but arranged in a very good format such that you get a mixture of all levels, as in the real exam.

Scholaranium: This concept is very helpful as I could work on my weaknesses and leverage on my strong areas. The explanations offered are good. Regarding the difficulty level, I found some questions to be of a higher difficulty level with very close choices, something I did not experience in the real exam.

Expert support: I did not post any queries to experts because whenever I found the explanation difficult, the discussion part cleared my doubts. Hence, I would give a high rating to this section.

Overall, the e-gmat verbal course is a must for all non- natives to score above 700 in the real exam. Highly recommend the product to all aspirants.

I was struggling with the Verbal part of the Gmat right from when I have started preparing for the Gmat. Being a non-native speaker, I was always weak with the verbal part. I struggled most with the Sentence Correction section while preparing. The most recommended material for the Sentence Correction module was Manhattan Sentence correction book. However after starting with it, I was still kind of feeling left out. I was not able to grasp the basics and therefore section like modifiers and parallelism were not making sense. After going through many reviews in Gmat club, I decided to buy the e-gmat Sentence correction module. I started with their first chapter and went step by step. After completing the whole module, my accuracy in Sentence correction shot up. Concepts were more clear and I was able to solve questions more importantly with strategy and not conscience.

it is a very good course for a non natives. each video has been carefully made so as to ensure all topics/subtopics and techniques are covered.
dashboard-makes it very convenient to access videos topic wise
SC-meaning based approach is impressive, it improved my accuracy.
CR-good quality videos that give approaches that can be applied. pre-thinking approach really works.
RC-they press upon summarizing and looking at the big picture in an essay-that really helps. However some of the video lessons in this section that talk about summarizing passages word for word, won't work on the actual test, because there isn't enough time.

I went from a V30 TO V34, I could've certainly improved more, had I practiced more.

E-GMAT's verbal online course is an effective material for learning the fundamentals of GMAT's verbal section and skills needed to shine on the exam day! I'm glad to say that in the first attempt itself, I was able to get a decent score because of e-gmat's verbal material.
The whole material is very interactive and helps clear the common doubts faced by test takers. Sentence Correction became very easy after I followed the three step process recommended by e-gmat. My verbal skills improved dramatically. The most important quality of e-gmat's material is perhaps its simplicity, which helps students to effectively grasp the basic concepts and advance with time.
Critical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension are equally good. By following the different techniques suggested by e-gmat, one would be able break down complex questions and get the answer.
I conclude e-gmat's verbal online is not only an effective guide to gain insight of GMAT verbal but also a material which makes learning easier, as you'll never find it boring.

I relied completely on e-GMAT for my preparations and scored 710 (Q47, V40) in my very first attempt.
I have been out of school and getting back to academics after almost twelve years. The verbal section is very well organized into different segments. I simply followed the course as it was laid out. One important feature I felt is that the practice questions at the end of every chapter also directed you back to the Official Guide which is the most important source for the type of questions one can expect. Scholaranium is an excellent tool to analyze your mistakes and sections where you need the most improvement. You could also customize the ability quizzes and relevant sections to target areas where you think you are lacking. Overall, I felt the course is perfectly designed to suit the needs of what one wants to achieve in a limited time. It took me about 2-3 months of effective training to get to a 700+ score.

So I decided in September 2016 to take the GMAT exam. Like most other people, I began with baselining myself with a mock test. As with most engineers, I breezed through Quant with a Q50, but the winds really turned around when I hit the Verbal section and was stuck with a paltry V21.

Nursing my bruised ego, I went scouting for reliable resources to bolster my Verbal score... and that's when landed with this absolute jewel - the e-gmat verbal course!

What I assumed to be another 'grammar made easy' course actually turned out to be my bastion of support to strengthen my skills in each of the areas - SC, RC & CR. The interface is engaging and absolutely fluid. The lessons are packaged into neat capsules, not delivering even a bit extra than you can consume in one go. Because of the audio interface, I could go through the lessons anytime - while travelling to work, waiting in a queue or simply sitting through during my study time.

The support from the team, webinars and scholaranium tests helped my pick my score one step at a time to bring me to a V34. Kudos team e-gmat - you are the one for us non-natives!

I started my GMAT preparation about 18 months ago. This is my first standardized test so a lot of things were new to me when I first started. I started by buying the OG 2015. When I started solving it reading comprehension or the critical reasoning part did not give me that much of a trouble. I had few problems in those sections but I thought I could overcome those with more practice. But when I started the sentence correction part it was a completely different story. Even if I could luckily guess the answer of some questions I could not tell why that answer was better than rest of the options. I actually stopped preparing for GMAT for a while. Then about seven months ago I started again preparing for GMAT. However, when I started sentence correction I faced the same problem. This is the first time I actually started using GMAT club. I heard of e-gmat from one of my friends before but didn't really think of buying it that time. In GMAT club I saw an advertisement of e-gmat that said I could actually try the course first before buying it and even after buying it I could learn for few days and see whether I like it and if I did not they would give my money back. So, I thought well no harm in trying. So I first signed up for the free trial version and I liked their approach of solving sentence correction very much so I decided to buy the course.

After 6 months I sat for my GMAT exam but it did not really do as well as I expected to do. I scored a 650 out of 800 with a score of 35 in verbal. I was really shocked because I used GMAT Prep software to prepare for the exam and I never scored below 38. So, I tried to find out where I went wrong and found out my test taking strategy was seriously flawed. So I took a month and sat for the exam again and this time I scored 710 and this time my score in the verbal section was 40.
Here are the things that I found most useful while I used egmat:

1. e-gmat focuses on the meaning of the sentence very much. At first it may seem very time consuming and it took me 3/4 minutes to solve sentence correction questions in this way but with practice I was able to solve sentence correction questions in 60 to 90 seconds when I was done with the course.

2. The experts in egmat are very very helpful. There is also a forum with many questions from past students and many of them actually asked the questions I had in mind so I could find the answers to my question without trouble and when I had a unique question the experts were always there to answer my questions.

3. I had least trouble in the critical reasoning part of GMAT but there was one question type that troubled me and that was bold faced question. After using e-gmat's method I actually could solve bold faced questions quite well. The e-gmat critical reasoning course teaches critical reasoning in a very structured way and I believe it can be helpful to those who are facing problem in this section.

Lastly, I have a personal experience and it is not really directly related to the course itself but I want to share it since it actually helped me. My first GMAT exam was on 21st January 2017 but my e-gmat access ended in 7/10 days before that day. I mailed them asking for help and they extended my access till 31st January without any additional cost. It was a really nice thing to do from their part. So, If anyone else is facing problem in the verbal section I suggest to try the free course first and i believe they will actually find it useful as I did and take informed decision.

I wrote my GMAT in December '16 (720- V38, Q50). Being a math enthusiast, I was confident in handling the Quantitative section- I also had good scores in the mock tests. However, my verbal score in the mocks couldn’t cross 32. I was aiming a 700+ score and that’s when I came across e-gmat through the GMATClub reviews.

I was initially hesitant in taking up an online course, but once I experienced their free trial I was convinced e-gmat was the right path ahead. If there are two things I’d say helped me immensely, they would be the practice I had everyday (I spent 2 hours daily) and the focus I had on finding my weaknesses (Scholaranium is a great tool for this, I’d totally go with what the positive reviews say). The video-based learning was effective in terms of retaining concepts and correlating them while solving problems.

Thank you e-GMAT for helping me score well in the VA section, and improve my reading skills as a whole. I whole heartedly recommend this to any non-native speaker who wants to ace the GMAT.

All the best to you all !!
