Nitin was a great consultant. He provided great feedback and was readily available. Even the school specialists were very helpful. They gave great insight about the different programs, especially since it was difficult for me to visit them with my work schedule. The program is as good as advertised. My background is male, mid 20s, Southeast Asian and in finance. This is a very typical background for someone applying to MBA school so I knew going in I needed to differentiate myself through my essays. Nitin was very helpful in crafting a story and making it appealing. I greatly appreciate his help and would recommend Veritas Prep to others applying to MBA school.

I elected to go with Veritas Prep pretty late in the game for Round 1. I chose the 2 school package for Stanford and Berkeley. For Stanford, I had about 3 weeks to to get my application from scratch to submission; for Berkeley about 5 weeks.
My head advisor was Nitin Agrawal, and he was fantastic. Understanding that my deadlines were fast approaching and that I was cutting it close, he did a great job of jumping to it right away.
Nitin was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the process: the ins and outs of both applications, helping me look inward to find relevant essay themes, and providing guidance on those essays. He was very quick to communicate and respond to any questions; it was not unusual for us to text frequently and to talk on the phone multiple times per week if I had questions.
Caleb was my Stanford specialist and he was also fantastic, going out of his way to provide me with research and suggestions on what classes and programs may fit my interests.
The only issue I had with Veritas was that they didn't provide me great access to a Berkeley specialist, as promised. I had limited email communication with someone, but they wouldn't even jump on the phone with me for a quick call. Considering the money paid for this service, I found this pretty disappointing and frankly, pretty terrible customer service.
Overall, I thought the experience was pretty good. Nitin was awesome and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is due to feeling that I didn't really get entirely what I paid for.
Also, regarding results: I was rejected flat our from Stanford (no interview) and it is looking like the same for Berkeley (no interview yet and there's only a few days left). I understand that this is not Veritas' fault - I got a late start and my profile is risky to begin with - but I thought I would share the results as that was of interest to me when I read these reviews.
Bottom Line: Nitin and Caleb were fantastic. Rest of the team: okay.

I just finished my apps with Veritas Prep. It was great having a head consultant as well as school reviewers as different people definitely added different perspectives to the essay editing portion. I'm pretty satisfied with how my essays turned out, something I don't think I can do on my own. I actually talked to a few different consultants prior to going with Veritas, and Veritas was the best about response times and follow-through.
I had Nitin as my head consultant, and he offered honest advice while being very encouraging, and helped me cut unnecessary fluff and offered good suggestions on what my essays were missing. He also had really a great response time, and I was able to get in all my first round applications in a timely fashion.
I'm still waiting on interviews at this point.
