I worked with Jen on my MBA application for INSEAD and Cambridge and she was absolutely fantastic. Starting with our joint brainstorming for the essays, where she helped me tremendously in selecting the episodes from my life that could have relevance to the applications, and then sorting them out on the essay topics so that they would paint a comprehensive picture of my strengths. Followed by writing the essays together, where we sent numerous drafts back and forth between us and Jen had a great sense of the strengths and weaknesses of individual drafts and also never shied away from communicating her honest opinion about what I had written, even if it needed us to redraft entire essays. Finally, the joint preparation for the interviews was also extremely helpful. Jen is also extremely knowledgeable about the intricacies of MBA applications and what admissions committees want to see in applications and was always readily available when I had any questions. But above all, Jen is extremely friendly and empathetic, and an absolute pleasure to work with, which is extremely important given the workload of one or more MBA applications. For me, hiring Jen was so worth it, because not only did I get acceptances for both of my applications, but I also received a scholarship from one of the schools, which means that my investment has already paid off.

Looking back, I’m so glad that I chose Debbie to help me with my MBA journey. During my search for a consultant, I often felt that I was not good enough for my dream school as well as my other top targets; however, Debbie had a more optimistic approach. Having been denied at my target schools once in the past, I was worried, but she was able to look at the positives and always brought it back to my strengths. Through this process of re-applying, I can confidently say that Debbie truly cares.

She is detail oriented, on time, friendly, and constructive. She is extremely accessible and easy to work with. Even though I always had a lot of questions, she was patient enough to answer them. Jen was extremely helpful, thoughtful, and supportive throughout my MBA application process. During our first brainstorm session, she helped me reflect on my personal and professional experiences to identify personality traits, accomplishments, goals, and stories that I highlighted in my essays - this experience allowed me to learn more about myself by elucidating my motivations for going to business school and how I could best contribute to an MBA program’s community. Jen also provided structured feedback on my resume to make my bullets easier to understand across audiences and to quantify the impact I had through my work projects. In addition, Jen’s comments on my essays were constructive, easy to follow, and shared in a timely manner with me - I especially appreciated Jen’s probing questions and suggestions for how I should consider expanding upon sections of writing to emphasize the “so what” and implications in the context of my MBA goals. Jen consistently provided clear expectations of when she wanted to review drafts of my essays and when she would be available to send back edits, helping me stay on track and finish my applications without any rush before the deadline. After I received interview invites, Jen coached me through several rounds of mock interviews, and she gave me useful tips for presenting myself (both professionally and as my genuine self) and responding to typical and curveball interview questions. I am eternally grateful for Jen. She was motivating and positive. This was my second year applying to school. My dream school was Oxford and after being rejected last year, I was feeling very discouraged. Jen helped me to stay motivated and craft a really compelling story for my application. She added a ton of value to making my story and motivations cohesive.

We did so many iterations of my essays and resume and Jen never slowed down. I was so impressed with her turnaround time and the thoroughness of her reviews. And then I got an interview! Katy could not have been a better mentor, supporter, and wellspring of information throughout the application process. I started out with little knowledge about the world of business schools and MBA applications, but Katy guided me every step of the way and helped me with everything from setting a timeline to figuring out the correct references to ask (and how to approach them) to practicing my interviews. Most importantly, she really understood who I was as an applicant, and helped me zero in on my "story" and tell it in the most compelling way.

Katy is honest but always encouraging, and will tell you the things you need to hear while being incredibly patient and accommodating with her time. Throughout the entire process, I felt she genuinely cared about my application and my success, and I truly felt her support for me as a person. As a deferred applicant, I applied to all M7 schools, received interviews from all the schools except MIT, and was admitted into HBS, Stanford GSB, Wharton, Kellogg and Columbia. I cannot recommend Katy enough - she is an amazing choice for anyone aiming for the MBA program of their dreams!

I had a fantastic experience working with Kim. She was super knowledgeable about all of the schools I was interested in and did an amazing job helping me navigating the process. No one in my close circle had gone through the process before, so having someone who was there to help guide me was really helpful. Would highly recommend working with her!

I started working with MBA Mission a bit later in the game, only about a month before my application. I would recommend earlier for a less hectic month, but either way Kim was patient and super helpful throughout the process.

Michael helped me to reflect upon why I wanted to get an MBA and create the raw material that would be the foundation of my application. He was then incredibly helpful in assisting me in selecting from all of the data in crafting a compelling story that effectively conveyed why I was an applicant and could be a valuable addition to a prospective program. During the entire process Michael met every deadline and went above and beyond in helping me to think about my applications to schools in addition to the ones within the package. Overall, I could not recommend Michael enough, as I eventually was admitted to CBS.

Jessica is a very caring consultant - she always showed a lot of care to get to know me, my story and craft a narrative about what was most important to me. She took the time at short notice to chat, understand my motivations and key life events and then continued to work with me through several iterations to ensure the best possible outcome. She asked the right questions to uncover what it is that I would want out of the MBA and allowed me to submit an authentic application. I know it's a big expense but if you really want to get in to a top school - I think this is an essential service and I would recommend everyone getting a consultant. Specifically, Michael could not have been better. He was incredibly knowledgable, prompt, set expectations, provided excellent feedback - I don't think I would have gotten into my top school without him. It wasn't stressful because he helped guide me every step of the way and worked with my time frame to create a customized plan. He truly found what was my best qualities and allowed those to shine for the school I wanted to go to. Can not recommend him more!
