To begin my GMAT career, I decided to entrust my CATs with MGMAT. Why? Because I was told that they were far more challenging than the real thing. I was told the math section was brutal, and I was told grammar was no picnic.
I have taken CATs from many places, including GMAT Prep. and Veritas, in addition to MGMAT. I can say that GMAT Prep. is by far the easiest of the three. MGMAT and Veritas gave me the same score on the separate occasions I took them.
I have been told, based on MGMAT's difficulty level, that my score will go up by about 20 points on the real thing. I can only hope! I am a fan of these tests, as they are realistic, but they are challenging and repeat a lot of questions I have seen on the forum. These are my two biggest complaints. I also wish they provided further analysis (like Veritas), but this is a smaller complaint. If MGMAT were to correct these issues, I would give the CATs 5 stars.
