I want to start off by saying that I recommend Veritas to just about everyone. I have referred four of my friends, I took the full course with my roommate (we both scored 700+), and I was very impressed with the overall company from the first time I interacted with them -- they were straightforward, responsive, and generally professional in their correspondence.

With that being said, Veritas, and it's competitors, are not a "sure thing." So many people start the GMAT prep process hoping to sit through a class a few hours a week, do some homework problems, and walk in to the test center and get a 760. It doesn't work like that -- you will have to work at it, and I don't feel that the company stresses that component enough. For the price, many people would HOPE to have everything sorted out by simply showing up, but I have found that it takes a lot of work outside of the classroom as well.

Another piece of advice / observation is that the class's impact depends on the quality of the teacher. I had a great teacher, but some of my friends have had teachers who were "too smart for their own good." The great thing about Veritas is that every instructor got a 760+, so they know how to "beat" the test... The bad thing about Veritas is that every instructor got a 760+, and that doesn't always translate into great teachers. Just something to keep in mind.

The four stars for quant is indicative of my belief that the course / materials alone will not get you to the Q49-51 range (which makes up the coveted 80th+ percentile). It would be advantageous to have harder problems to really prepare students for the test.

One final note -- I preferred Manhattan's practice tests (more representative of the real test and I truly valued the analytics around how you performed), but much preferred Veritas's approach / study materials. Do yourself a favor and just buy the Manhattan tests (something like $50).

If you are going to invest in a GMAT prep course -- choose Veritas, and make sure you sign up with a great instructor.

Ravi was the absolute best part of this class. I was concerned about the class being online, and was not sure if it was going to be engaging or if I was really going to learn the topics. Ravi was very engaging! He was great at breaking down each subject and question, and he always encouraged us to ask questions in class. He let us use the microphone too!

He was also available outside of the classroom, and encouraged us to email him if we had any questions or needed individual help with our prep. He always responded promptly and challenged us to study hard.

I was very impressed with his teaching, and my Veritas Prep experience could not have been any better!! I highly recommend this course!

The Veritas GMAT Preparation Course is a precious tool for the Quantitative and Verbal Sections and above all for any portion of the test. I chose a Veritas On Line Classroom with my instructor Ravi Sreerama who has a unique way to teach, Ravi is a truly master in developing an higher order thinking, he gives you the opportunity to understand every type of problem from any angle with multiple strategies and methods to solve the questions efficiently and quickly. The lessons in class are animated, Ravi is available also to respond to each student in real time and provides you tricks and suggestions for the exam, he also mails you in private in order to know how the things are going for improving your results on the different sections! If you have conflicts schedule or you cannot join the on line classrooms for business reasons or personal matters you have also the opportunity to record the lesson and listen it during your free time. The customer service is attentive and always available, you have also the opportunity to join every day of the week the Live On Line Office Hours. I still have to continue to work hard after the course but if you want to take a Gmat on line classroom I really suggest you to take it with Ravi Sreerama.

Taught by: Aaron Pond

Aaron Pond and the Veritas Prep full course were a great fit for me. The quantitative section was a struggle for me so I was really hoping to get those skills up to speed. Aaron's approach to the course is to change the way you think, rather than just teach tricks and shortcuts. This approach worked well for me, as I needed to think differently about the GMAT in order to get past some of my bad habits. The lessons were great and was time very well spent.

Aaron's expertise and experience with the GMAT alone is worth the cost of this course, but the extra online Veritas Prep resources are very helpful. Using the online tools I was able to identify my weakest areas. Aaron provided specific examples within the coursework that would help me improve those areas. The combination of the two made the difference for me.

I increased my score by 100, enough to break through the 700+ barrier and get me into a top MBA program. It's a little pricey, but it was worth it. My GMAT score got me into my MBA program, and Veritas Prep was a major part of getting that score. I highly recommend the course.

I have used almost every available GMAT test prep material our there, and I can say, without a doubt, that VP stands above the rest.

Not only are their materials fantastic (and, in my opinion, the most similar to GMATPrep), but their employees and customer service are top notch. They genuinely care about your individual success and that made all the difference for me.

I sat for the GMAT 5 times, starting with a baseline score of 490. My last take was a 760 (99th percentile). I was not only admitted into my choice school, but I have been contacted by choice consulting firms.

If I had to describe VP (and not just their test prep, but their other services as well) in a word: Life-changing.

I have taken Veritas Prep with Cliff Smith twice. First time was back in 2003 where I scored a 710 after taking his class. Second time was in 2013 when I scored a 740 after taking his class. He is incredibly patient and focused on the key topics and strategies to take you to that next level. His Cliff's Notes are incredibly helpful on topics you haven't learned in 10+ years. Most of all, he is very supportive and responsive to questions and concerns when things aren't going well. I ended up having to take the GMAT twice this time around because I did not get the score I wanted on the first attempt. He helped me diagnose what might have happened to me on the actual exam and I went back, retook it a month later and got the score I wanted. Thank you Cliff!

When I decided to take the GMAT, I had no idea what to expect. I work full-time and I knew that studying for this exam would be challenging and require a lot of effort. I needed a prep service that would force me to consistently study throughout the week. As a result, I decided to sign up for the Veritas Prep full course.
Mark Robinson, the instructor, was very helpful and kept the class focused. There are way too many tips and tricks you would not learn from simply reading the textbooks. Mark's teaching style enables his students to stay motivated and see these GMAT problems in a new perspective. He wants his students to think like a CEO, a mentality that will carry on past this course and into business school. To be honest, I found the experience in class to be way more helpful than reading the material on my own.
The structure of this course enabled me to really understand core concepts and solidify them through the homework assignments. The practice tests were also crucial in helping me with the GMAT. It enabled me to get the timing down for each section as well as review my weaknesses.
I took the GMAT in early March and ended up scoring a 700. As an engineer, I knew my weakness would be the verbal section. To my surprise, I ended up scoring in the 90th percentile in the verbal section. I honestly believe I would not have been able to achieve this score without Mark's help. I highly recommend this course to anyone preparing for this exam.

The Veritas course is able to break down the GMAT into clear components that logically build on each other throughout the course. These building blocks helped me understand the GMAT in a way that I would not have been able if I had approached these topics on my own.

Anthony, my instructor, was both knowledgably and funny. Six hour days in class are long, but he kept everyone engaged and made the time fly. My only complaint is that we didn’t have quite enough time. The course should add another day so that important material is not rushed. That said, I’m confident that this course contributed in a big way to my success.

Before taking this course with Ravi, from Veritas Prep, I did a lot of researches to find the best online course for GMAT prep since I had been studying on my own for such a long time but couldn't get the score I wanted.
Then I started with Veritas Online prep course and realized that it was the best thing I did during my preparation.
Skillbuider videos are what I liked most about this course since they helped me to refresh my memories about the basics of maths, English grammars and also guide me through the concept/techniques of each section in the GMAT
I took the class with Ravi because I read a lot of good reviews about him. It was a good choice since he's an experienced instructor, he made everything become easier to understand and the way he taught us to tackle GMAT was very interesting and effective.

Mark Alan Robinson greatly helped me succeed in my GMAT preparation. The Veritas Prep course was easy to follow, easy to manage, and was a great tool to my study schedule. Mark was able to explain math problems in an easy to follow, CEO way, requiring little actual math and more big picture thinking. Mark made the verbal section and sentence corrections easier to handle. I was pretty surprised at the way I caught on to everything. The Veritas Prep books are very clearly written and easy to follow. I would highly recommend Veritas Prep to anyone I know. I could not have done it without Mark and Veritas!!!
