I came into the GMAT straight out of undergrad with no real concept of what the test was or how to succeed. After taking the Veritas class with Ravi, I felt fully prepared and truly understood the ins and outs of the test. Ravi made what would sound to be grueling (7-10pm 2x week) an interesting and enjoyable class where I could feel myself getting stronger each and every time. Ravi did a great job of conveying the information in a very relatable manner, making understanding the test much easier. I felt very confident going into the test and his class really paid off. I would recommend Ravi's class to anyone out there a 10000X over. He helped me to hit my 700 mark! Thanks again, bro!

- Ravi Sreerama maintained steadfast enthusiasm throughout the 3 hours for each of the 12 GMAT sessions
- The best part about Ravi’s teaching style were the tips, tricks, and short-cuts to solve difficult problems
- His persistent encouraging style imparted a personal touch in ensuring that his students understood the material
- In a class of 54 students in the online class, Ravi took extra effort to send private chat messages to respond to each student’s questions.
- Ravi’s teaching gave me great confidence to do very well on the GMAT
- Overall, he is the best instructor I have had for an online or in-person class!
- Ravi’s supporting instructor Chris Speck is also fantastic; he provided tips for the problems during the class and gave excellent advice on GMAT preparation after the classes.
- Veritas Prep course materials are very thorough and easy to follow. They were extremely accommodating in letting me attend alternate make up sessions and also send me recordings of classes I had missed.
- For anyone wanting to prepare for GMAT, I would 100% recommend Veritas Prep and 1000% instructor Ravi!

Thought the course was great and have recommended it to friends. I didn't take a practice GMAT until about six weeks in, so I have no idea where I would have tested without the course, but I ended up scoring a 750 on the actual exam. No way I could have done that without Veritas Prep.

The classes were truly enjoyable, David was very entertaining and for the most part kept everyone moving along. The skillbuider sections in the beginning of the lesson books really helped with this as well, as it allowed everyone to have a basic level of knowledge on the subject. This prevented us from wasting too much class time going over the real simple stuff.

David has obviously been teaching the GMAT for a long time and knows what mistakes and traps everyone falls for. It was great learning from his experience.

I really recommend this course! The tips that the instructor were really helpful, especially lot of shortcuts helps me saved lot of time. Brandon was available after the class which was great. He really took the time to explain any topic/technique we couldnt easily understand. I also recommend continuing on practicing after the course to keep up with the momentum. Currently, I am working on using those techniques to cut my problem solving in half. I feel like i am still spending lot of time solving problems. I will post more reviews once i have my final gmat result.

Hi ,

I enrolled myself for Veritas prep nline course almost an year back. The web interface is hihly organized and the problem sets are available both on the internet and in printed form. The skill builder lessons build up the base in short span of time. The Quants portion is very detailed and very thorough. There are few trap questions that will open your eyes and teach you what to expect from the test makers.
Verbal course is a equally appreciable. Each and every topic of SC has been covered with a detailed insight on the rules.
RC is extremely good. Their techniques are sound and flaw-proof.
CR is could have been better. They userd lot of LSAT question and i don't prefer that idea of theirs. i would say CR could have been better.

The bouqet of goodness continues with 10 CATs and few other added benefits.
Overall the course is totally worth the money. This course along with official guides can guide any1 to 700+ score.

Thanks

I took the "On Demand" course which includes an extensive series of videos covering all the verbal and quantitative skills tested by the exam. The website also features extensive homework problems with detailed explanations and 10 adaptive practice tests. I found the practice tests to emphasize work/rate problems more than other test platforms.

The "On Demand" package also includes the study books which complement the online materials. Overall, I think the "On demand" package is a great value and provides hours of study materials. I would highly recommend the Veritas "On Demand" class to anyone capable of investing a significant amount of time to go through the complete series of videos.

I took the in-person class with Ravi Sreerama in Santa Monica. Ravi showed up to class everyday with high energy, enthusiasm and motivation. He covered the lessons thoroughly and at a high-octane pace, so no time is ever wasted. Ravi speaks clearly and with authority, continuously interacting with students and keeping everyone engaged. In class, he’s a drill sergeant – in command of the lesson and in control of the pace. Outside of class, he’s the most personable, laid-back and down-to-earth guy you’ve ever met. Confident and cool, Ravi is a master of all topics covered on the exam. He is inspirational and genuinely cares for each and every one of his students. It is no secret that Ravi is the best GMAT instructor in town and that’s why his classes fill up early.

I took the full Veritas prep course in Los Angeles with Ravi Sreerama as my instructor. The Veritas materials provide similar content to the other major prep providers, but the difference was the instructor. Ravi was excellent at walking through test strategies, highlighting the important content to memorize, and motivating students to study/perform well on the GMAT. Ravi was also helpful in answering questions related to the GMAT in general. While I prefer the in-person class, I also attended one online session with Ravi and found those to be equally useful.

I haven't taken the official GMAT yet, but my quant score improved from a Q40 to Q47 after taking the prep class with a 20 point increase in my overall score (710 to 730).

After doing a lot research on GMAT prep classes I decided to go with Veritas Prep as they seemed to really specialize in the test and their instructors had great reviews. I took the Full Classroom course first and found that to be very helpful and a great introduction to the test. The instructor had taught with other test prep companies and was really good at sharing all the techniques that he knew. He was also very insistent that we purchase and use the Official Guide as well as the Veritas Prep materials. After the course, I took the test and under-performed in the Quant section (which was already my weakness). As a result, I decided to retake the class and, due to class scheduling, opted for the live online class with Ravi Sreerama.

Initially, I was pretty hesitant on taking an online class as I was worried that I would not be as engaged. However, this really was not the case. First of all, Ravi was really helpful about helping me set goals for my test retake. I sent him a very detailed email about my GMAT history and MBA application as a whole and he responded thoroughly and thoughtfully, giving me study structure advice - which I really needed! During the onlne course itself, Ravi really broke the Math problems down and helped me understand the correct thought-process from start to finish. In the end, I was able to raise my GMAT score from a 630 to a 690 and I couldn't be more pleased considering that I've never been a natural "test-taker".

I want to start off by saying that I recommend Veritas to just about everyone. I have referred four of my friends, I took the full course with my roommate (we both scored 700+), and I was very impressed with the overall company from the first time I interacted with them -- they were straightforward, responsive, and generally professional in their correspondence.

With that being said, Veritas, and it's competitors, are not a "sure thing." So many people start the GMAT prep process hoping to sit through a class a few hours a week, do some homework problems, and walk in to the test center and get a 760. It doesn't work like that -- you will have to work at it, and I don't feel that the company stresses that component enough. For the price, many people would HOPE to have everything sorted out by simply showing up, but I have found that it takes a lot of work outside of the classroom as well.

Another piece of advice / observation is that the class's impact depends on the quality of the teacher. I had a great teacher, but some of my friends have had teachers who were "too smart for their own good." The great thing about Veritas is that every instructor got a 760+, so they know how to "beat" the test... The bad thing about Veritas is that every instructor got a 760+, and that doesn't always translate into great teachers. Just something to keep in mind.

The four stars for quant is indicative of my belief that the course / materials alone will not get you to the Q49-51 range (which makes up the coveted 80th+ percentile). It would be advantageous to have harder problems to really prepare students for the test.

One final note -- I preferred Manhattan's practice tests (more representative of the real test and I truly valued the analytics around how you performed), but much preferred Veritas's approach / study materials. Do yourself a favor and just buy the Manhattan tests (something like $50).

If you are going to invest in a GMAT prep course -- choose Veritas, and make sure you sign up with a great instructor.
