Brian taught me in May of 2015 at the Hilton hotel in Washington DC.
I was getting the 600’s, but I wanted to break the 700 to get into a top school. Brian helped me achieve the 700.
Not only did I need someone who already broke the 700 and could teach GMAT, but I also wanted someone who went to a top MBA school so he can give me some admissions advice and some attendance advice.
He was very helpful after the course as well. Whenever I needed help when practicing, or help to give me a moral push, I would send him an email and he would respond.
For example, I had a gap between my QUANT score and my Verbal score, and I was worried that top MBA schools would ding me because of this. I was worried so I sent an email to Bryan. He did comfort me and tell me that it was not a huge factor to create a ding.
I appreciated his assistance with helping me break the 700! I would recommend Brian as an MBA instructor.

A little preface, I took Manhattan self study a few years ago and sat for the GMAT. I scored in the low 600's.
After contemplating business school, I decided the best chance of my acceptance was to retake the GMAT. After reading numerous reviews online, I decided Veritas Prep was the best choice, especially since they had a money-back guarantee if I didnt beat my previous live GMAT score. The VP materials were excellent and thorough, I think each section clearly broke down the GMAT subjects and strategies needed to master the test. For me personally, an in-person class was very helpful to grasp concepts not easily understood. Our instructor was very good at relating the material to practical business applications( ie: sentence correction errors to real life lawsuits where companies lost millions on the use of the wrong verb conjugation) and had great personal examples (catch phrases, stories, etc.) that allowed me to easily remember material when sitting down and taking the test. My biggest complaints were the classroom and pace of the course. The classroom was small, had tiny tables, was in a mediocre hotel, and constantly smelled of burned plastic. The pace of each night of class was very inconsistent. Often times we would go slow at first, then speed through the end sections(more difficult problems) and not finish each book. We were so slow that we had to add an extra night just to finish all the material, granted it turned out to be a nice review session of all the subjects. Don't think if you go to class, you'll ace the test. Outside of the classroom hours, be prepared to dedicate each weekend to 1 practice test and homework (8 hours at least).

Ravi was simply a fantastic course instructor. I had taken a couple of other GMAT prep courses prior to taking Ravi’s Veritas Prep course, and Ravi was by far the best instructor. He has the unique ability to distill complex topics into easily digestible lessons. His engaging teaching style and genuine interest in his students’ success make him an obvious choice. Furthermore, Ravi does a great job focusing on what students must know to be successful on the GMAT. I really enjoyed the class structure because I was able to practice problems under a test-day time constraint and diagnose my weaknesses and issues with problem approach. Ultimately, the course allowed me to be strategic in my test preparation and execute on test day. I highly recommend Ravi without reservation.

I took the online Veritas course with Ravi Sreerama and it was a very positive experience. My GMAT score was 100 points higher than my first diagnostic. Without question, Ravi is talented at what he does. He was very transparent from the get go that if you want to improve your score, you must put in the work to do so. Despite being online, he kept the students engaged, and was very clear in explaining complicated concepts, and answering questions. Overall, the course, along with Ravi's own insights provided many time-saving strategies for the actual test, especially with the quant section (the section which i needed the most improvement). He preaches that for tangible improvement students must study as efficiently as possible and address their weaknesses head on. His class is definitely a value.

Yes, something is wrong - i looked up the user's score report record and it is 55th percentile for Quant. That's where 55 came from.

Ethan was a fantastic teacher of the GMAT material. He was able to connect with students at multiple skill-levels without sacrificing quality of the course. I appreciated his strategies and tips for the test. I have studied other company's materials in the past without much success but with Ethan's help through the Veritas material I am much more prepared.

I have taken a few practice tests during and after the class and my official test is coming up in a few weeks. I have seen improvement in my understanding of the material and in my overall score. I would recommend Ethan as a teacher especially if you are considering Veritas Prep.

Great resources, David was helpful and available whenever needed and had a way of explaining material that made it easy to stay focused for 3 consecutive hours. His quantitative classes were really effective and he had a ton of tips and tricks to share about strategies, timing, and shortcuts. Additionally, the 'TA' for the class was super helpful in answering questions online while David was teaching. On the verbal side, David broke down problem solving and sentence correction really efficiently and made it easy to diagnose problems. Lastly, on AWA and Integrated Reasoning - we only spent one class on it, but was more than enough to achieve the highest scores on each of those sections.

Overall a great course.

I consider myself very lucky to have had Brandon as my GMAT tutor. Brandon combines an extremely practical way of approaching the GMAT with a winning attitude. One of the most helpful things Brandond did with me was walk me through an entire GMAT test and show me how he would approach the problem. It was an education that no book, online course, and very few tutors could replicate. It was extremely liberating to know that there were simple logical ways of solving even the most difficult problems.

Brandon's attitude was one of unwavering confidence in my abilities to get a phenomenal score. Even when I would hit a plateau and not seem to be progressing Brandon would encourage and keep me going. He had a winning attitude the entire time and that attitude was just as valuable--perhaps more valuable--than the problem solving skills he taught me.

Brandon was also willing to meet me at extremely odd times based on my schedule. When he was in a different time zone he would wake up a 5 or 6am on a Sunday to tutor me for three hours.

I truly cannot imagine a better tutor.

I thought I didn't have a shot at hitting the score I needed after taking the GMAT the first time. I was lucky enough to get Ethan as a teacher. He's really cool, approachable, patient and just really good at GMAT strategy. This is the guy you want to take the course from, you'll laugh, learn and get a better score with his approach to tough GMAT problems.

My quant increased substantially, and the verbal went from abysmal to acceptable. Veritas materials were good. I recommend listening to the books on tape using ibooks, etc on your commute if you can. It's just another way to take the information in. I also recommend watching the on-demand videos or re-watching the videos when a section isn't coming to you. Kahn Academy was big time for Algebra improvements.

You'll love the great fool strategy, the crazy stories, and late night study sesssions just aren't quite as brutal with Ethan at the helm.

Veritas On demand course is structured in a way that best suitable for those students who want to study at their own pace and wants to dedicate more time to sections with which they are struggling with. Very extensive, the course is specially designed to build student concepts from basics-to-advance level. You will get everything in this course, tips, tricks and strategies. Their live instructor for homework help works very well as the instructor helps the student to know his/her mistakes and weak points. The program was structured very well with extensive material. Their principle "Learning by Doing" is crucial that emphasis Practice, Practice and Practice. Though, i didn't score well on the gmat and that was totally my mistake..i found that this course is good enough that one can score 650-680 very easily. The best part of Veritas is their Tests...I found them very close to Real Gmat tests. The tricks that Brian and David taught are helpful and memorable. I am again going for GMAT test to score 700+ and i am sure Veritas will again help me to boost my score.

About the Class: Initially, I signed up for Veritas Prep to access the online books, tests and course material. 2 months into the preparation I was going nowhere and decided to take the online course. Ravi's classes have helped a lot to understand and apply GMAT strategies and were very interactive and fun. He used to make sure you were on track without losing focus and never hesitated to point out your weakness/areas of improvement. The entire content of the books was covered in the 3hr lessons and was amazed how focused I was all the way through. My GMAT score has improved significantly (More than 150 points) after attending the course.

About Ravi Sreerama: His teaching skills are exceptionally good and he gets the information across in an excellent manner. He is clearly very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend Ravi Sreerama to any of my friends who would take the GMAT exam.

All in all, Ravi's course is very knowledgeable and interactive and money well spent.
