Jerry graduated from the University of Michigan in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Mathematics and from Cornell University in 2018 with a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering. Instead of pursuing a career associated with his education, Jerry decided to follow his passion and join Dream Score as a full-time tutor, passing his valuable knowledge towards countless students.

Jerry always had ease in learning quantitative related subjects, and he was especially enthusiastic in teaching his fellow peers about them. He often absorbed whatever was taught on spot and explained to peers in a more apprehensible way compared to the professors. This resulted in Jerry’s passion for teaching and inevitably he found his perfect fit in Dream Score. He has a unique style of tackling the exam, which is to simplify the exam as much as possible for the students. He aims to make mathematics and logic more humanly associated, using relatable metaphors and practical analogies to assist his explanations. His wits and tactics often get the claim “Wow, that’s so smart!” Jerry hopes to teach long-life lessons to his students, and not just tricks that will only work for the GMAT. His favorite quote from Einstein is: “Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.”

Aside from work, Jerry enjoys playing piano, kayaking, chess, and solving puzzles. He is a responsible host of game nights, often snatching the top ranks in joke contests!
