Noun + Noun modifiers are very versatile modifiers. Unlike the structure of other modifiers, their structure does not restrict their modification to a particular entity in the sentence.

I plan on taking the GMAT this winter but wouldn't actually start looking at applying to school until maybe three or four years down the road. What are people's suggestions on this?"
