Penalty for leaving a question unanswered

A great question from 2leggedprophet: "I notice that I tend to run out of time on the quant section. Although I'm trying to work on pacing, during the actual GMAT, if you have a few questions left at the end, is it better to randomly guess or to leave them unanswered?"

Time lapse between application and GMAT test

GMAT Club member Dbiersdo writes: "Hi, I was curious, do schools look down on applications on applicants who have taken the test from a long time ago? I plan on taking the GMAT this winter but wouldn't actually start looking at applying to school until maybe three or four years down the road. What are people's suggestions on this?"
