10.000 -> 5% = 500 gallons

10.000 - 2.500 -> 7.500 gallons

500 gallons / 7500 gallons = 1/15 = 0,0667 = 6,67%

Sodium chloride before evaporation: 0.05 * 10,000 = 500

After evaporation volume = 10000 - 2500 = 7500

Percent of sodium chloride after evaporation = 500 * 100/7500 = 20/3 = 6.666 %
answer : D
