hi guys,
Below is the question i am not able to get through pls help me out

Q1) For all [z] denotes the least integer greater than or equal to z, is [x] = 0?
1) -1 < x< -0.1
2) [x + 0.5] = 1

q2)When positive integer n is divided by 5,the remainder is 1 .when n is divided by 7,the remainder is 3.what is the smallest positive integer k such that k+n is a multiple of 35?
a) 3
b) 4
c) 12
d) 32
e) 35
