btw, here is a point: Such as Vs Like:
Such as: is used to give examples Like: is used to compare
Ex: 1) She has such pets as a Tiger, a fish and a parrot.
2) She has pets like a Tiger , a fish and a parrot.
1) Means: Examples of some of the pets she has are a Tiger, a fish and a parrot
2) Means: She has pets similar to a Tiger, a fish and a parrot which implies something like..She has got pets such as Lion, a water animal like fish and a bird like a parrot.
Another ex(my own creation): 1) Britney has hits such as 'Oops I did it again' and 'one more time'.
2) Britney has hips like mountains
Though examples such as these are unlikely in the GMAT, examples like these are quite likely!

anyone who has the Kaplan Verbal book, please check the rules in the Appendix.
I'll check when I am back home. I am sure you can't use 'you' to refer to one, but you can use 'he' as a pronoun to refer to the 'one'.

Yes you can. You can use the pronoun 'he' or 'she' with the antecedant 'one'

I want to quickly finish the GMAT exam
In the above sentence the infinitive is split from the base form of the verb...........This is called a split infinitive..................
I want to finish quickly the GMAT exam...................over here the inifinitive is right next to the base form of the verb
it's okay to use the split infinitive in standard american english...............so the option with a spit infinitive in it, could be the rite answer as long as it sounds gud...................
