This is also based on an actually GMAT problem.
A grapefruit that originally was 99% water by weight was left out in the sun. After some time, enough water evaporated from the grapefruit so that it is now only 96% water by weight. If the starting weight of the grapefruit was 100 grams, how many grams of water evaporated?
(A) 4 grams
(B) 6 grams
(C) 8 grams
(D) 24 grams
(E) 75 grams

The ratio changes from 1/99 to 4/96, which reduces to 1/24. 99 - 75 = 24.
The answer is E.

Inidial wt = 100, water = 99.
plug in 75.
new wt = 100-75 = 25. water wt = 99-75 == 24
24/25 == 96%

How would you know; did you remember the questions from Prometric?

I took the test 2 weeks ago.
I don't know what prometric is.

Why is your score so secretive, we don't know you, you can tell us how it went though, does it feel like Powerprep, I know the dS does according to sources.
Prometric runs the test in U.S. sites in Sylvan Learning Center.

Well, I got a !!! Quant on Experience; are you a girl is that why your so afraid of your age description  
These explanations seem faulty.
Original 99 g water 24 g water
1 g grapefruit 1 g grapefruit
Just a min-trick that's all it is
24/25=96 percent !
The trick is what makes up the rest of grapefruit. Dog doodle, I don't know:)  And the 1 gram stays the same.

And your math skills indicate that you were brought up in a culture that has something other than 10 fingers and toes.

Let x grams be water evaporated...
So 96/100(100 -x) + 1 = 100 -x
Solving for x gives Ans as 75gs.

From the conversation I still cannot figureout the official answer to this Q
Originally G = 1 gm W = 99 gm
W/(G+W) = 0.96 after evaporation
so
W = 24G
Since G = 1gm W remaining = 24gm
So 99-24 must have evaporated = 75gm
