SOLUTION:

\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{3}}-\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{2}}

(A) -1/3
(B) -1/6
(C) -1/12
(D) 1/12
(E) 1/3

\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{3}}-\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{2}}=\frac{1}{(\frac{4}{3})}-\frac{1}{(\frac{3}{2})}=\frac{3}{4}-\frac{2}{3}=\frac{1}{12}.

Answer: D.

By taking the LCM and taking the reciprocals-

3/4-2/3=1/12

Ans = (3/4) - (2/3) = 1/12

bunuel.. i think difficulty level shud be 500 or below 500..

its 1/12.. person shud knw the 1+1/3 = 4/3.. by not taking LCM because that will waste ur time..

SOLUTION:

\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{3}}-\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{2}}

(A) -1/3
(B) -1/6
(C) -1/12
(D) 1/12
(E) 1/3

\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{3}}-\frac{1}{1+\frac{1}{2}}=\frac{1}{(\frac{4}{3})}-\frac{1}{(\frac{3}{2})}=\frac{3}{4}-\frac{2}{3}=\frac{1}{12}.

Answer: D.
