I take my 1st full practice test this weekend and I was just looking for some pre-test feedback. How would you seasoned test takers rate the Manhattan GMAT tests as compared to other tests? Also, I am taking the test at their center so does that skew things at all? I am looking for feedback on:
- Score compared to the REAL GMAT
- Score compared to other practices tests
- Level of difficulty compared to the REAL GMAT
- Level of difficulty compared to other practice tests
- Anything else I should know?
I do not have any pie in the sky hopes for this test, but I am hoping to break 600. I am also interested in picking up a couple of their books, any suggestions on which ones are the best?

Manhattan ones are harder. Their teachers typically score 50-80 points lower on them than they do on the real thing.

50-80 pts lower?!?! I am now wondering if I should have signed up for this thing. I do not think I am ready for such a challenging practice test. Oh well, I'll wing it and hope to learn something new.
