Hey Guys,
I am looking to study for GMAT for 3 weeks full-time ie around 8 hours a day starting today and created this plan. I am hoping to achieve 700s. What do you guys think?

Do let me know.

Thanks

don't burn yourself..2 test in a day..no way buddy...1 per day is ok as you have to review the test also

also Quant from OG no use at all..if still want to try then practice only last 30 problems from PS as well as DS section

Disclaimer: I am a 690 scorer who is going to retake and I am aiming +700.

In my opinion your plan needs revision.

First, exclude the McGrawhil tests and Cliff Notes. They are not highly regarded materials.

You will need MUCH more time to study the MGMAT SC guide, even if we consider an 8-hour study day. It is very dense and demands a lot of time. I would say that it is OK to dedicate one day for the MGMAT CR or MGMAT RC book, but definitely not the SC guide.

Take one GMATPREP right away to really have a true diagnostics and so have a clear picture on which subjects to focus.

And finally, only schedule your GMAT test when you are already scoring a 730+ on the GMATPREPs.

Good luck on your marathon !

Leafsrule99,

I just started preparing for GMAT and my target score is 680.
From what I hear from top scorers, it is advisable to re-do OG questions more than once.

So, if you are targetting 700+, you may want to include revisions of OG in your study plan.

All the best!

Sorry another silly question for you guys, I had downloaded and installed the GMAT prep from www.mba.com website
which one does that correlate to here?
Download GMAT Prep version 1 - 2005 edition
Download GMAT Prep Version 2 - 2006 edition

That's correct:

Download GMAT Prep v1.0 - 2005 edition (GMATPREP 1 & 2).
Download GMAT Prep v1.2 - 2006 edition -current one (GMATPREP 1 & 2).

What is the difference between the two? Are there different tests for each edition?
