31 days between tests?! [#permalink]
02 Oct 2006, 11:20
Hey all,
I recently took the GMAT for the second time and got the same freaking score as last time (660). I had some minor emergencies at work the weeks leading up to the GMAT this time so didn't have time to prepare well enough, not that thats an excuse. Anyway I wanted to sign up for it again in 2 weeks but the site won't let me do that. Says that you have the wait 31 days in between. Why is that?
I thought I'd just brush up on some things and then take it again while its still fresh. Also want to get the GMAT out of the way so that I can focus more on the essays.

That has been their policy all along. I felt the same way you did - I just wanted to review a few things and get back in there, but I had to wait over a month as well. Honestly, it can be a challenge to keep your motivation up, but the extra time can work to your advantage if you use it effectively.

True, but the one negative aspect is that now I have to study for the GMAT and get the essays done pretty much at the same time. I'd just prefer to focus on one thing and then move on. Ah well.. a small bump in the road it would seem.
