A mechanic bought 150 oil filters from a wholesaler for D dollars. He then sold the filters to his customers at 500% of the original price per filter. In terms of D, what was the cost of each oil filter for the mechanic’s customers?

Each filter sold at 500% will make the price 6D. Right?

6D/150 = D/25 (is my answer).

Official answer is 2D/75. Where am i going wrong !!

D becomes 5D and not 6D,IMO

hence OA=5D/150=D/30
