A generic question about GMAT EXAM APPOINTMENT [#permalink] New post 29 Jul 2010, 05:09
Hi every one
Actually I couldn't find any other place to post this thread
and I am terribly sorry about it

My question is : does any one experienced rescheduling of exam appointment to another country ?
because of some reason I have to do it , but as you can see there is a message on MBA.com that says there is a 50$ fine for rescheduling time or location of your test center it also says you have to call the Customer Center for changing the country
and I called the center (middle east) but surprisingly he said you have to
cancel the exam and register it again !!! that means another 120$ loss for me

I was wondering if any one experienced the same problem as I do.
thanks and sorry for misplaced topic again :)

Thanks for posting the question - this is the right place but I have not heard anyone before having the same dilemma.
I would write to GMAC if I were you. Seems like one of the rare situations that a call center may not have been prepared to handle (if you have time that is)

I just checked this one, system does not allow even to change my center choice
it only allows me to reschedule to a different date only but not different center

Call them and confirm. Do not judge anything.

If you call them , there is 50% chance you will get it rescheduled for 50$.
If you do not call them, there is 100% chance you wont get it rescheduled for 50$.

Simple mathematics.

Okey , Finally they answered my question ,
The official center of gmat provided me a solution that costs 50$ to reschedule exam appointment to another country and also with another date
I have to announce them my Credit Card details and they are gonna take 300$ from it to register at a new date and after that they will refund 250$ to me .
