Just a question about adding a sequence of fractions. If a question asks to approximate the value of 1/10+1/11+1/12+/13...+1/30, what is the best way to attack it?

The sum is greater than (30/30) and smaller than (30/10).
I guess this is the only meaningful information we can quickly derive from the question.

Any number 1/11, 1/12, 1/13... etc is going to be smaller than 1/10. The sum should be close to 1/10 multiplied 30 times. Look at the 5 choices and pick the closest. The sum should be smaller than 30/10 though...
