Hello,

I have my round 1 apps in to several schools. I recently took on considerably more responsibility at work (non promotion). Would it be beneficial to shoot the adcom an email detailing this or would it be considered a nuisance?

IMO, the AdCom are more interested in the results and the actions you've done to acheive the results rather than just your responsibilities. If you want to write to AdCom, you should talk about what you did to earn the additional responsibilities and why the added responsibilities are significant.

I agree. If you have something concrete like you just landed a colossal deal, or doubled your team size, yes. If it's just "Some more responsibilities" I wouldn't contact them just about that.
