Spritex,
Look at the median range of GPA scores for accepted applicants at your target schools, and that will help you to figure out just what score you need, at minimum, to have a decent chance of getting in--if you have a strong academic record, perhaps you were just having a very bad day when you took the test. Could you perhaps take a prep course or work your way through a study guide with lots of practise tests, try again to get your score up from the 300s to the 600s, and open up a greater selection of school options that way?

Take a look at the breakdown of your score and figure out where the problem is--were you weaker on quant or verbal? Do you suffer from "exam anxiety"? Once you know what you need to work on, you can really focus your study efforts in the right direction. But depending on which schools you're hoping to apply to, I'd guess that you would probably need to retake at some point.

Good luck,
Sonia
