I was wondering if you would recommend some schools for me.

My profile:
27, female
Originally from Russia/ from 2003-US permanent resident
Mechanical engineer with 3.7 GPA
GMAT 620 (45 Q 30 V)

Work Ex:
Engineer (Russia)
Total: 3 years

Program Coordinator- non profit (USA)
Help Russian kids with serious medical conditions to get treatment in USA hospitals
Total: 2.5 years


Extra curricular:
ballroom dancing –participate in competitions.

Can anybody give me some advice to which school to apply in USA with GMAT score 620.
Do I have any chance to get to any school in top 20?

Dina,

There are some excellent schools that would be very happy to admit someone with your background and experience if you can raise your verbal score. You are only going to get your MBA once. If you can work on your English skills and improve that score, then you would have a competitive chance in the top 20. Now the top 20 are stretch schools for you.

dina, may I say that my first GMAT attempt was 620 with a similar breakdown as yours and I ended up with 700+. Just put in hard work and you will make it.
