Hey guys,
I took the test recently and scored a 700+. However, I'm not too confident of my chances given my relatively low quant score - 46(79%). I'm sure I can improve that aspect in a few weeks. Round 2 apps are due no earlier than Jan 5, which gives me enough time to prepare for another attempt. I plan to schedule a test in 2.5-3 weeks. I would like your advice on how to go about mastering quant.
I've done both OGs, Kap800, PR, Kaplan Premier, PR CATS, Kaplan CATs, Powerpreps, and 1 GMATPrep. Can you suggest something else? The math forums here? Challenges? GMATT73 mentioned the DS and PS archives offered by MGMAT in another post; are these available electronically?

79% is totally fine. That's not a low score. Who told you that?! Wharton may have its arbitrary 80/80 "requirement" but a 700+ score is competitive anywhere. Hitting 700+ shows you can handle the GMAT, and a 79% quant shows you can handle the quant. The rest of your application will matter more. People with 800s get dinged if they haven't demonstrated leadership or have no ECs. So focus on the rest of your app, make it sing, and move on from the GMAT. You did just fine. Don't let people who are obsessed with uber-high scores make you doubt your chances. Their priorities are way out of whack.
Ask the admissions consultants...they'll tell you that with 700+, there's no need to retake. Spend the next 3 weeks perfecting your essays and forget the GMAT.
