applying round 1 and round 2 [#permalink] New post 06 Nov 2011, 18:36
Hello Stacy!

I was considering submitting my application to NYU and Cornell, both of which have approaching round 1 deadlines. I am 99% positive I would accept NYU right away if admitted, but....I am also applying to Harvard and Wharton in Round 2 and I would definitely like to hear back from these schools first and then make my decision. If NYU, Cornell, or other Round 1 programs admit an applicant, how long can the applicant hold off on responding to the school? Is the response period given to applicants sufficient to also hear back from round 2 schools and make a decision on the round 1 and round 2 results.

Thanks!
