Are Interviews necessary? [#permalink] New post 30 Jan 2007, 02:50
Hey all,

I am not a regular contributor to this forum, although i do read most of the posts.

This uncertainty is killing me. I have applied to HBS, Whar, Columbia, Chicago n NYU.

I got an interview invite from Whar but nothing from others (apart from the mail stating that the app is complete). And i know that Wharton interview invite really does not mean much.

Could some one tell me if all of the above schools have compulsory interviews before selection?I am feeling a bit jittery out here!!!

Wharton interview invite means that you have reached the next round for selections. Without the interview invite it is considered Denied.

Regarding interviews.... in all top schools it is mandatory. You won't get an admit without an interview. Interviews are considered part of the application process where you get the chance to talk about your passions and in general your life that would help your candidature.
