Average GMAT matriculating students. . . [#permalink]
16 Nov 2012, 15:18
I've been thinking about something lately. It might just be me overthinking things. Schools have published ranges of GMAT scores both for applicants and 80% range of admitted students. Does anyone know if there is either an average or range that takes yield into account? i.e. the average or range of only those students who chose to attend that school? It seems to me that students with higher GMAT scores using schools as safety schools would skew numbers upward making the average score appear higher. Just a thought. . .

It's my understanding that most schools publish "class profiles" that show the average GMAT score and 80% range for the entering class, not for those admitted or applying.
