I started reading the Barrons guide and their tests after a recommendation from a high scorer. Was wondering what kind of experience anyone else has had.
Looks like the book has not changed much in the last 2 to 3 years
as I have an old copy and went to Borders and the new one seemed to be
pretty much the same. Just has an extra CD.

Use the Popular ones. They invest a lot to be up-to-date.

but then neither have the Kaplan or Princeton changed any in the last two years. Just a newer cover that says 2004 edition but the material is pretty much identical.
I have started going through it actually and find that the questions seem to be pretty good. Especially since they have 5 practice tests right in the book. Seem to be better than the Kaplan

Actually your call. Now that you have the book, just complete it. Kaplan is good since it is more systematic and the questions , even though recycled are more representative for proofing the mistakes that we commit in the online CAT.
