Campus Visit Debriefs

Sometimes one of the most important parts of the application process is overlooked. We, as applicants, spend so much time hoping that we get into our top choices that we forget to think “Is this school right for me? Do I like the staff? Do I like the students? Do I like the Campus? Etc…” Many of these questions are answered when we visit the campus for an open house, interview, or class sit-in. Lets share our experiences.

I’d like to open up a forum for “Campus Visit Debriefs” regarding some or all of your campus visits. Tell us everything you felt, saw, liked, hated, etc… Use this template to guide your debrief:

I shall be visiting Hardvard on 9th of Feb, MIT on 10th of Feb and Stanford on 13th of Feb. Coming from Europe just for these three visits, got my visa approved today! Will post my impressions here when I have come back.

It would be great to meet some GMAT club members, who also consider coming on the same dates. I am also thinking how to arrange a meetup with the current students, just to chat, ask some general questions about school atmosphere, etc without being too intrusive

any advice will be appreciated.
