CFA vs MBA

I don't know whether this is the right forum for this, but here is my question.

What are the advantages of an MBA vs a CFA? I'm doing the CFA atm, and I was wondering if the CFA would open me the same doors as the MBA does. I'm targeting the Investment Banking business or the PE business in the future. I already work in an investment banking department in a Belgian bank, but would like to get into a bank with a high profile.

you should consider both. A number of your competitors who are pursuing similar jobs will bring both to the table. My classmates who are armed with both have done very well.

I would say take the CFA first, it's easier than the MBA to start. Just register and study away, and it fits around your schedule. As for the MBA, it seems like its a bigger commitment and will require you to work your schedule around it, not to mention it takes about a year to apply/get in.
