Chance me please? [#permalink] New post 15 Jan 2010, 06:17
Hi, new to this forum.

I'm still currently in undergrad but I'm stuck between law and business. I can't get into a top top law school because they go strictly by grades (every point on the lsat can knock you down another school), but I am looking at top30 law schools. I have signed with a large insurance company (fortune 500) in their Leadership Rotational Program.

What are my chances at getting into a top mba (dartmouth, mit, columbia, stern, harvard)
-after finishing 3 years rotational leadership program, hopefully with solid recommendations
-female, not minority
-division 1 athlete, full scholarship, captain
-3.7 gpa in liberal arts from a reputable private school but not ivy level or anything (top 60), 700 gmat
-good community service
-great interviewer. i would say this is one of my strongest assets.

thanks everyone. good luck to those in the middle of a cycle.

Are you at all considering a joint JD/MBA (could give you an angle to boost your chances in both programs)? Are you considering working after graduation?
