I'm looking into some MS Finance/MA Math of Finance programs and they seem to be highly competitive. I'm wondering what you think my chances are based on my stats below.

3.5 GPA in Chemistry from an Ivy League school (my chemistry GPA is about a 3.5 as well)
US Citizen
GMAT: 770 (50 Q/46 V)
Will have 4 years of work experience by the time I matriculate (2 years in bank risk management, 2 years in consulting for financial institutions, focusing on portfolio and risk management)

I'm looking into the following programs (in order of preference):
Princeton MFinance
MIT MFinance
Columbia MS Financial Engineering
Stanford MS Financial Mathematics
UChicago MS Financial Mathematics

I'm worried that my GPA might be a bit low, but I'm not sure whether my work experience and GMAT will overcome my GPA. Also, since I'm a little ways out of college, I'm not sure if I can get a recommendation from a math professor.

I think your chances are pretty good at all schools. Maybe slightly better at MIT and Princeton since these schools are not full quant programs. Not sure how much math you would have, but I am assuming a good amount. Your work experience is pretty good also.

Have you thought of doing an MBA? You have 4 years of experience, great UG, good GPA and a top notch GMAT. You could easily get into a T10 program.
