(1) If x = 4n + 2, 3x+1 = 3(4n+2)+1 = 12n+6+1 = 12n+7 .......Suff because 12n+7 is always an odd integer.
(2) x>1 doesnot tell anything.

A.

(2) x > 4

This question is asking if 3x+1/10 is an integer.
Looking at the +1 part, this tells us that the only way it is divisible by 10 is if 3x has a 9 in the units place (9+1 =10)
3 times X has to have a 9 in the units place --> x has to have a 3 in the units place (ie 13,23,33,43, etc)

1. This tells us x is even, so it cannot have a 3 in the units place
Suff
2. Doesnt help us at all, could be 13 which would satisfy equation or could be 6 which wouldnt

A.
