I was thinking about deadlines, and thought that it would be useful if I had a spreadsheet with deadlines in it. Later I thought about some things that happened this year such as: - GSB antecipated its notification date; - Some schools admit students before notification date; - Some schools work with notification dates prior to deadline for next round, while others overlap; As a way to control anxiety, and help for next year analysis I made the following spreadsheet, fell free to make changes, to incorporate formulas, etc, just thought that it would be useful for future applicants.

Great idea Kwam, another thing to add may be the earliest decision we had for each school this year for ones that let them out slowly. Kellogg, Yale, Columbia, schools like that. And then the dates schools bumped their decisions up to, like for Chicago.

BTW I left Columbia out because of deadlines, but with these "new features" we can include it. Should I amend it with the new ideas and data or should everyone input and then repost the new spreadsheet?

We have something of the sort in [w]Events[/w]. Still very raw though. I am working on an iCal feed and a web calendar with all events including deadlines.

Hey sorry, I'm still a "wikiless" person. As now I need to fill the void with the end of my applications - other than rhyme's tip to sleep - I will try to help building this page. We need that people help here by adding the info regarding the schools, and off course other schools as well.

Hi kwam, Thanks for your interest in helping out! Among many other things, I am trying to build a [w]Help[/w] project for the wiki - on the wiki. I will also answer all questions, preferably at the Support forum. Ways to contribute - forget about the syntax or making things pretty, just edit plain text or even copy and paste to the wiki the text of good forum posts. Others will pick it up to format and organize later. If there is data (e.g. in Excel), drop me the file and I'll put it to the wiki through a bot program (we did so with school rankings recently). I would say you are far from being a wikiless person, in fact you are a proud wikizen having a profile at [w]User:Kwam[/w] page!

good stuff Kwam! Thanks for taking up the task to do this. UCLA started announcing this week, but it's deadline is Friday, so it is one of the schools that report before the notification date. Stanford I'm pretty sure is hard core steady on their notification date. Haas I hope will do it earlier...
