You don't have to have project management experience, but some leadership or administrative experience is valued by admissions committees. You can be a team lead or you could have lead a non-professional organization or effort.

Good luck!

thank you.
i dont think i will be team lead also in coming year . anyway i have expereience in organizing sports event for my entire team in which i handled a to z of that. again after that i had organized new years party for the team . i divided the work among my colleagues and helped them to get synchronized with other preparations all and all it was very good .
i even had been school captain where i have lot of activities which shows my leadership quality right from the begining.
SHOULD I SPEAK ALL ABOUT THIS THINGS IN MY ESSAY AND INTERVIEW?

You probably should not speak about all of them, but you should provide evidence of leadership and organizational ability by going into some depth on one or two of them.

Good luck!
