done with OGs .. what now ?

hey guys ...

am done with my Og 11 and Og 12 . To be true , there were only a few questions different between them so after completing Og12 i did all the questions which were not there in 12 from 11 , and so am done with the Ogs pretty much through and through ...

i have about 1.5 months left for the test ...

what do you suggest i do now , for different sections ?

Sc -> brutal scs and 1000 sc series ? .. and so on for all the others ?

please help .. i am targetting 750 plus .... so even if it requires me to sweat blood to achieve that , im gonna do it ! (sentimental stuff 8-) )

Have you taken any practice tests? What are your scores?

hey bb ...

i've taken GMATPrep 1 ... i scored 650 :cry: on that ... but was too distracted during the test , took it in office and got interrupted a few times (aaahhh ! excuses .... :oops: ) ... but this was like a month back and without any major preparation ... since then i've completed manhattan SC , powerscore CR bible . SC and CR were the main weak areas I had figured out from my test results... and also probability , of which i got a few questions during GMATprep , but i hadnt really covered it then ... what do you suggest now :idea: ?

I think you have done enough - you are about ready (at least based on the material you have covered). Take a few full-length tests, focus on your error log and areas you need to beef up, and that's it :)

what would be the ideal preparation for dealing with AWA :roll: ? .... and can you please list down the practice tests that one should ideally take :help2 ?

For practice tests - you are probably good with 4-8 total. However, this depends on the person and familiarity with standardized tests.

I would just keep taking the GMAT prep tests until you start getting the scores you want. There are literally thousands of questions in the question bank, so a few repeats should be OK.

Manhattan gmat has pretty good practice CATS, and I would recommend taking those if you're looking for additional practice, but GMAT Prep is still the best!

There are actually 2 versions of GMAT Prep (I recently learned) and PowerPrep, which makes for even more questions, though PowerPrep and GMATPrep early version overlap with OG 12 (latest GMATprep does not) - you can download all 3 of them here: Download GMATPrep
