Engineer with low quant applying to part time programs [#permalink] New post 25 Apr 2012, 18:15
Hi all,

I graduated from McGill with a 3.14 in engineering, I got a 680 on my test , with a 42Q 41V breakdown, any opinions on wether I should retake for part time programs? I'm looking at Booth, Kellogg and Stern.

Thanks in advance for your opinions!!

Part time programs are more forgiving, so if you have compelling career acheivements and a solid post-MBA vision, you might be ok with a 680 for PT. You have to think about it from the perspective of looking better than the next guy with an engineering degree. What you are short in the GMAT you can more than make up for with career accomplishment--this is especially critical for PT programs.
