how many times should i take gmatprep test before taking actual gmat? please help.

Hi,

As far I think you should take a max of 4gmatprep tests..
1st -> before starting your question
2nd -> once you are done with your prep
Reinstall the software in a new PC
3rd -> once you have done revision of everything
4th -> it should be your last test before the GMAT as this will give you your expected GMAT score.

There is no specific "number" of times you should take it . I'd say take it as many times as possible , because even if you've taken the test 5/6 times , you will see at least a few new questions . Don't attach too much importance to your score after 1/2 retakes though , because your score will most probably be a bit inflated .
