Golf . . . [#permalink] New post 14 Oct 2007, 09:23
Anyone play golf here?

I just started playing this year. I've played about 18 times so far and yesterday, I had one of the best days of my life.

I shot a 24 over 94. I know, that may sound like a crappy score to some of you guys out there. But I'm ecstatic. Before that, my best score was a 34 over 105. I beat my previous best by 10 strokes.

It's funny because as I was getting to the last few holes, I just wanted to get it over with so that I can break 100. I had a chance to break 90! But I rushed through the end, it was similar to getting to question #37 on GMAT. I rushed to finish the test so I can get my score!

If you have played golf, let me know how long you've been playing and what your best score is.

Just saw this thread. I was good when I was in high school/college - used to happily hack divots every weekend, along w/the rest of the country club brats I grew up with. Haven't played seriously in a few years, but I miss it. Wanted to take some lessons and brush up this summer, but this whole GMAT-application - essays process has really gotten in my way! Best score was finishing under par at my local club, but that was eons ago...

really is off topic an really been a while since you posted.

I too started playing golf this year - but till now have been restricted to the driving range. You have inspired me though - will gather some courage an venture out on the course this weekend :)
