Almost did not prepare since the previous attempt (710) and still got 30 points more. It shows how luck is important in GMAT. Thus, do not underestimate it!

Wow, I don't think I'd write it again if I had 710 in the first place. But congrats! Can you also supply your scores with Kaplan PP and such?

As for preparation: my advice would be very standard and boring - practice, practice and practice as much as possible.

One important advice: if during the test your brain tells you that the answer is "C" and your "gut feeling" tells you that the answer is "D" - pick up "D". The only difference between my first and second attempt was that during the first attempt I was doing everything by brain, and during the second by "gut feeling". Second was much better in terms of verbal.

I am even more lucky - the picture is not the only thing I can get :wink:

That picture would make a great poster... seriously, I have not seen a shot like that in NYC at the poster stores/galleries. I think it would sell well.

agree. it is the beautiful depiction of the sense of photography and imagination. black & white has added an extra aesthetic touch to it.

How come you retook the test when you got 710 in your first attempt?
I thought the GMAT had dimishing value after a certain level (say 680 -700).
